The Teufelberger Idea Management system, which has been in place since April 2, 2001, continues to evolve, just as it has over the past 25 years.
With your idea, you can actively help shape your workplace, your working environment, and the processes around it. The key changes and the new process will be presented in a short training session/presentation.
What is changing and what is (partially) new?
1. One idea management system across all divisions & locations
A standardized process for the entire Teufelberger Group, covering all locations and divisions.
2. Digital and paper-based submission, with or without login
You can easily submit your idea from almost anywhere. As before, submissions can be made via computer or using a paper KVP card. New: ideas can now also be submitted via QR code directly from a smartphone (company phone, private phone, or a colleague’s device).
3. Dedicated local contacts
For every division and location, a local TIM coordinator has been appointed to support you with any questions or concerns related to Teufelberger Idea Management (TIM).
4. No more distinction between TIM & CIP
In the future, there will no longer be a distinction between a TIM idea and a Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) idea. Your idea is TIM!
5. Evaluation & decision by the TIM committee
The evaluation and implementation decision for your idea will be made by a committee consisting of the responsible manager and the departments involved in implementation. Together, they will assess the benefits and effort required before deciding on implementation.
6. Small appreciation for every submitted idea
For every idea submitted, you will receive 2 TIM tokens, each redeemable for a coffee for you and a colleague.
7. Standardized rewards (TIM/CIP)
Since there will no longer be a distinction between TIM and CIP, the reward system will also be standardized.
8. Adjustment of rewards
As TIM is being introduced across all locations, countries, and currencies, reward amounts will be based on the respective country-specific hourly wage.
9. Idea overview
Have you submitted an idea and want to know its current status? In the future, you will be able to view the status of your idea(s), as well as other submitted ideas, on local notice boards and/or information screens.
10. Idea presentation with before-and-after photos
Your idea helps us improve and move forward together. That is why implemented ideas will be showcased in line with the principle: “Do good and talk about it.”
