New partnership between Robline® and Sparcraft

Since the beginning of this year we have been in discussions with the French mast builder Sparcraft where our goal is to become the main supplier of ropes to Sparcraft´s European production site in La Rochelle.

Sparcraft who is part of the Wichard groupe (where also our customer Ronstan is a part) is one of the largest mast builders in the world. The opening of Sparcraft´s new Franch factory in September this year will make them one of the most competitive and technically advanced players in the mast market.

Robline® is now working with the dedicated team from Sparcraft to become the main supplier of ropes in 2027. Sparcraft is setting up a new modern splicing center in their new factory where they will be able to customize ropes for their customer needs.

One of the goals of Sparcraft is to supply the Beneteau groupe with ropes together with the masts that Beneteau is buying already today. Beneteau has earlier sourced the ropes separately and assembled this, but are now looking for a turnkey solution where the ropes are already in the mast when leaving the mast factory.

As a step to achieve this, the team from Sparcraft visited the Teufelberger plant in Veseli together with two representants from the Beneteau groupe. The visit was an important step for us to show dedication to the Sparcraft cooperation and also show Beneteau our capacity and industrial approach to rope making. The visit was a success and we are now evaluated by Beneteau. If all goes well we will have more news regarding this by the end of September.
