A strong signal for quality & circular economy

Teufelberger stands for quality that delivers on its promise. STS has successfully passed the TÜV Austria “OK Recycled” certification for the third consecutive year, once again demonstrating its responsible and transparent use of materials.

Since 2024, selected parts of our PP and PET product portfolio have been certified with the “OK Recycled” label, including compliance with the EN 15343 standard for traceability of recycled materials. This achievement clearly shows that sustainability at Teufelberger Strapping is measurable, verifiable, and an integral part of our day‑to‑day operations.

We are particularly proud of the extension of the certification. A large proportion of PET strapping produced at our sites in Austria and Poland now consists of 100% recycled material, proving that top performance and full use of recyclates go hand in hand.

Significant progress has also been made in our PP portfolio: within one year, the recycled content was increased from 40% to up to 60%. Two major product groups, comprising more than 230 article codes, are demonstrably producible with recycled material. In total, around 1,000 items are included in the current certification, which is valid until January 2027.

The annual audit conducted by TÜV Austria ensures that raw materials, suppliers, and material flows are thoroughly monitored and that full traceability is guaranteed. The result: maximum transparency and independent confirmation of our work. A strong achievement – and a shared success of all teams who contribute to it every day.
